To be clearer - What does it mean? This means that the first 12 months are mandatory (“minimum stay 12 months”). If your contract starts from the 1st September 2018, the first year will end on the 31st of August 2019 (12 consecutive months). In this case, the prior notice has to be given in February 2019 (6 months after the beginning of the contract) and six months before the ending date.
